So MUCH to Do

Good morning, Readers!

This weekend has been busier than expected. Namely, I managed to acquire tickets to go see comedian Sarah Millican Saturday night. It was an unexpected night out, and so my other projects were kind of... neglected. But it was nice to be out and about, and it was nice to spend an evening laughing. Sarah Millican is very funny, though I do think her show is largely for the ladies (and the lads in the know).

I do have a long list of things I needed to get done this weekend, none of which I have even started as of the writing of this blog post (Sunday afternoon, in case you were wondering). I was to do them starting Sunday morning, but I was out far later than my bed time, and so I slept most of the morning.

But here is my list. I will be checking them off as I work through them:

  • Write blog posts for the week
  • Script next YouTube video. If I'm feeling on top of things, record the voice over (AH HAHAHAHAHAH. Ahem)
  • Make a decision about request from Can*Con to be a panel moderator (ie - can I overcome my persistent, powerful imposter syndrome)... by the way, I was asked to be a moderator for a panel who lost theirs last week. I'm not certain I have what it takes.
  • Start painting for donation to Can*Con
  • Start painting for thank you gift
  • Stain leather to sell at Can*Con
  • Create draft plan for Renaissance's Launch party at Can*Con
  • Send out email to writers launching with Renaissance at Can*Con
  • Complete review of format files for The Timbercreek Incident, which... I'm really annoyed. At myself. At myself. More on that in another blog post. It's so dumb. I'm an idiot.
  • Play around with some cover ideas I had for The Timbercreek Incident (the paperback is going to require a cover, and some ideas have wormed their way in as I was thinking about it).

That's the short list. So... yeah... There's no way I'm going to get that all done, but there are a few things I can knock off the list. Like, these blog posts, which are a necessity. Because they're a regular recurring feature.

I might get to scripting the YouTube video. I know precisely what I want it to be about; given that it's going to (hopefully) be public near the end of October. No, it's not a Hallowe'en thing. It's going to be for November. And will involve Boudicca (and almost my birthday month). November's video will be about Can*Con. Maybe. If I can get my act together.

The other thing I absolutely have to get done this weekend is decide whether or not I'm going to Moderate a panel. I don't think I have the expertise for it, and I'm not sure that I can do it without having a complete breakdown, but the topic is wildly interesting, and it would be a fun discussion (if I do my job correctly). By the time this reaches the main blog, I'll have made my decision. I'll have until the end of the day on the day this publishes for the Starlings.

It might not seem like much to most people, but I'm anxious as hell about it. So I asked for some time to think about it, and Can*Con kindly permitted me that time.

*sigh*

Well, since I have so much to do, I should leave it here. Have yourselves a wonderful day!

Slán go foill!
