I did not catch up on my writing. And I barely hit my goal.
Weekly word count goal: 5 000
Actual word count: 5 005
Sill, I did hit it, and I'm not mad at myself.
I didn't get any writing done this weekend, being occupied first with resting and second with literally all of my other projects and attempts at self-improvement. And chores.
So, though I've been busy and kinda also out of it thanks to my depression, I still hit my goal. Even though I didn't blast past it, as I have in the past when I'm at my best, I still made it.
I am currently sitting at just over 116 000 words.
It's not a slog writing this, even though the pace of the narrative is much, much slower than I'm used to creating, I'm still intensely interested in the characters and story. I hope others will be too. Even if this one doesn't see the light of day, I still want it to be good.
Anyway, that is where I am currently.
I have so much work to do, so I'll head off for now.
