Anyway, it was fun.
Someone asked me a little later if I'd ever do the gaming thing full time. I laughed it off. Now, though, it has me thinking.
I mean, there is no way I could do it full time currently. It's extremely hard to get noticed these days, and let's face it, I'm no Jacksepticeye or Markiplier. Also, YouTube is making it very difficult to get any money these days in an effort to try and please their advertisers. I have thoughts on that I might tackle in another blog post. There's really no way I could do the entertainment gaming for a living...
Unless I set up a Patreon. And for that to work, I'd have to be way bigger on the scene than I am now. And have some pretty awesome perks. Which I don't have. So there's that.
As it is, I'm having a tonne of fun just streaming as I am. I wonder if doing as my actual job would rob the joy from it. That said, if that was my job, I'd be in a very happy place! I could game and write, and I would be in absolute heaven!
So, maybe it's worth working towards? I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibility. I have nine followers already, and I only started fairly recently (I know, nine is not a lot, but I was expecting none at all, so I'll take that nine and be glad of it!).
I don't know. I just know that I'm currently having fun being the worst, most potty-mouthed assassin in the history of the brotherhood.
What do you think? If you could game for a living, would you? I'm interested to know.
For now, though, I have to go request some reviews for Sky Road Walker, and then get started on editing together that highlight reel.
Ciao!
