So, other than growing excitement for Can-Con this year, I don't have much else going on right now, so I thought I'd fill today with random things I'm doing or thinking about.
What I'm Reading
So I'm nearing the end of a book I'm reading that is purely for pleasure (not for homework for Nights at the Round Table, which is the majority of what I read now) is called Reaper's Gale. It is the seventh book of The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Canadian author Steven Erikson. I've fan-girled hard over Erikson before, so let me just say OMG WHY AREN'T YOU READING THIS SERIES IT'S GENIUS!

Also, a friend of mine has just started a really awesome web comic, and you really should be reading it. You can do so here.

I don't really watch television anymore, with the majority of my entertainment coming from YouTube. That might change, though, because YouTube changing, but not for the better. They're making it harder to be creators on the site, and I don't appreciate that at all. Here's how:

PUMPKIN SPICE COFFEE from JenEric Coffee. Look, be a judgemental twat if you want, but the Amazing Flatmate brewed it this morning and offered me a thermos full so I took it. AND IT'S DELICIOUS! And it was a beautiful cool morning. And there is nothing wrong with pumpkin spice any time of the year. Stop acting like you're something superior for not liking it (or pretending to not like it to feel superior about something. I see you).
What I'm Eating
BACON! I'm so happy to not be eating rice and beans that I might have gone overboard on breakfast... but there was bacon. Lots of bacon.
