Good morning, Readers.

I guess.

There is a problem with having the imagination required to make stuff up and write it down.  Sometimes, that problem is the imagination goes into overdrive.  Early in the morning.  Scaring the ghost out of the owner of said imagination.

I'm talking about nightmares.

It's been a while since I've had one.  I guess I was due?

In this dream, a group of us were walking past an old abandoned house when two of the party decided to go inside to explore.  These two women looked suspiciously like Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.  Anyway, the details are hazy, but I end up having to go look for them.  I escape that house, but barely, and am then approached by the ghost of a young girl who hands me a bundle of herbs and a couple of feathers tied together with twine.  I take it and head back into the house with this charm and end up confronting the horrific spirit that was keeping the ghosts of other young girls captive in the house.

I'm not capturing the terror very well, but holy shit, guys.  I woke from this nightmare with my heart pumping furiously and dripping with sweat four times.  Four times I pulled myself out of slumbering hell only to pick up right where I left off once I fell back to sleep.

You'll all be pleased to know that I banished the evil spirit, releasing both my friends who had entered the house and all the ghost girls who were trapped within it.  They gathered outside the house with the ghost who had given me the bundle of herbs and feathers.  I asked her if she was a witch.  She nodded solemnly.

And then I asked all the ghosts to pay the kindness forward.

Then the alarms went off, so I never got that promise.  For all I know, I unleashed a bunch of horrific child spirits into the dreaming world...

Anyway, though I haven't captured the detail of how terrifying the dream was here, trust me when I tell you the dream was incredibly terrifying.  My body did not react well to the nightmare.  Not at all.  A runaway heart, fear sweats resulting in dehydration, shaking... Ugh.

It's been quite a while since I've had nightmares.  I've almost forgotten how to deal with them.  In any case, I am not nearly as rested as I could be.  I'm feeling grumpy and tired.

But bursting with ideas, so.... silver lining?

I have Welsh to be getting on with.  Happy Monday, folks.

*grumble**growl**mutter*

Ciao!

You know.. I used to have this recurring nightmare that sent me into a house that had all kinds of traps in it... including a swimming pool that not only had handcuffs or something at the bottom, but the room had closing walls... uhh as in, closing in on itself. Why my character decided that it was a good idea to hop into the pool when I never learnt to swim is beyond me...

But yeah... That dream terrified me for years on years so I totally get it. Nightmares are evil. -.-

Wow that's nightmare sound familiar not sure where, I know I didn't dream it but sound familiar to me like I seen it or red it. That would make a interesting book to read. ;-)

Maybe not a whole book, but a short story? I don't know. We'll see. It's definitely filed away for future use.

What a badass dream! =) You vanquished a demon! I wonder if the dream is trying to send you a message that you just kicked the ass of some "inner demon"? =P
