We climbed for about an hour, which is surprising.
And yes, I climbed on a sore foot. It was not smart. I probably set back my recovery a bit. That's okay. It was worth it. We spent the majority of our time trying a couple of courses in which we could top out. I managed to top out twice on two separate courses each, and am pleased with that. The second course was not difficult, but I found it hard work. The first was much easier. I wanted to get to the top of a course that required a jump, but alas my injured foot prevented me from leaping. I'll try that course when my foot is better. And when my hands recover. They're still quite tender.
If I had more money, I would climb much more regularly. It's a lot of fun.
I would like to thank the staff at Coyote Rock Gym for being helpful and fun. It was a great evening.
This morning I received a lovely note from my publisher letting me know that Skylark is off to the first editor. I'm actually excited to read their comments and make improvements. I love this story and I can't wait to get it out into the world.
And that is all the news I have
While climbing last night, I realised that I'm late on my eNewsletters. Again. So I have to go do that now.
Ciao!
