While the story is fun, I'm impatient to get it done. Once that's done, I can turn back to the second book of The Great Man series. I think that's where I am in the rotation.... Wait... if my Beta Readers are reading this, have I sent you Outcast yet? Lordy my brain is mush.
So, yesterday, I queried agents, wrote the morning post, and the Black Gate post, did a small write-up for Kung Fu classes at Carleton, answered work emails and placed orders for things I need. Then, I received good news that my classes will continue into the winter term, and a pledge from my students to help make sure they survive into next year.
To that end, we're all brainstorming ideas on generating interest in martial arts.
To that end, also on the agenda today, creating posters that I can stick around places for my martial arts classes. We're doing a whole range of geek-inspired things. I'm a little too happy about that, to be honest.
Speaking of martial arts, the classes at Carleton have ended, leaving me with nothing to do on a Monday evening and Saturday morning until they start up again. It's a little too cold to be running outside, so I'll have to come up with something to keep me occupied.
,,, Wait, I have a painting to finish and a commission to work on. Not to mention the sculpture I want to get started on. Oh, I have plans! Okay, I will not be bored at least. I just have to remember to keep active. I'm a real slug, and have to force myself to move. Bed and blankets are more my speed.
Right, I have to go do my French lesson things, and then go write.... and maybe do a bunch of poster mock-ups.
Ciao!
