I'm not a fan.
Also, PEOPLE IN MY GYM, YOU HAVE A 30 MIN LIMIT ON MACHINES AND IGNORING IT MEANS I DON'T GET MY FULL WORKOUT YOU SELFISH PRICKS.
Ahem.
I'm sorry. I'm really grumpy, guys.
There was a thing that made me happy though. I got into work this morning and there was an email from my publisher asking about the book cover for Daughters of Britain. It made me smile. For the record, I was not as helpful as I wanted to be, as I didn't really have any strong vision to argue for. I'm excited to see what happens with it, though.
I think I've mentioned that Daughters of Britain is slated to published this year. I'm not sure when, exactly, this year, but I'll let you know as soon as I know. Similary, as soon as I'm allowed, I'll get the book cover image to you. I'm really excited to see what the publisher comes up with.
Then, not five minutes ago, I got a text from my kung fu brother Jon, and it looks like our CoOpted series is back on. He's coming over Sunday for a couple of hours of gaming. It's been a while since we've played, so it's bound to be a lot of fun as I try and get used to playing Borderlands again.
Those two things combined have helped improve my mood considerably. I'm a little less grumpy.
But not much.
If you happen across me today, and I look like a thundercloud, it might be best to just stay away. I'm not in a state fit for the company of other people.
As of now, I'm off to write a bit. It took me pretty much all day yesterday to write my daily two thousand and I was not impressed with myself. Hopefully it'll be a little better this time.
For now, though, have a good day!
Ciao!
