What I can recall of it, it began with me in an Egyptian-style tomb, trying to free a young village woman from being possessed by some spirit or another. I ended up watching the possession take place, and then had a hell of a fight in order to banish the spirit. I can't remember the girl's fate, though I know I was successful in banishing said spirit. I have a vague recollection of the girl being alive, although unconscious, in the arms of her male friend.
My job done, I left the tomb.
Then, on leaving the Egyptian tomb, I found myself on the side of a mountain in the snow. The snow. And ended up having to fight a dragon Skyrim style. Apparently, I knew how to shout. Anyway, I don't know how the fight with the dragon ended. I was awoken by a terrible cramp in my shoulder, resulting from my sleep position. Also, the cat lying across my arm, pinning it at its awkward angle. However, I was really confident going into that fight, and not at all terrified, even though I was facing off against a dragon.
That's what I dreamt this morning. I shall probably spend a lot of time pondering its meaning, and I will remember fondly how little that terrifying dragon actually terrified me.
My dream self is extraordinarily brave, y'all.
Also this morning, I'm having some trouble moving my neck. On Tuesday, we did an awful lot of clinch work during training. I hate clinching. It's not just that it's hard work, which it is. I sweat more clinching than all the other work we do in martial arts. It's that I'm uncomfortably close to people, and they're all trying to pull my head down and control my motion. Granted, I'm doing the same, but I don't like it at all. It's too close. As a result, of course, of straining against the folks trying to pull my down and jerk me around, my neck muscles are sore AF. They will be, for the second time today, be slathered in Voltaren and massaged like hell. Hopefully, they'll be in working order for training tonight.
Oh, also this morning, I struck upon the best name for my giant bear that I tamed in Far Cry Primal a fortnight ago. This week, I tamed the big sabretooth tiger Bloodfang. I figured Bloodfang was a good enough name for him. However, Great Scar Bear is a terrible name for a pet. I spent my time with him last night while streaming trying to come up with another name for him. He's a huge, scar-riddled cave bear with arrows and spears sticking out of his hide. He's also quite sweet.
So, everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Charles II.
I still need a name for some of my other beasts. Hopefully I'll get there before the game itself ends.
Okay, I have to get to work.
Ciao!
