As many of who know from Facebook, I have been spending quite a time finding the perfect music for the forthcoming Human book trailer.
Welp, I've found it. Actually, there are three songs that I'm cutting together to form the perfect trailer soundtrack. I'm really quite proud of this find. The best part? The composer has listed the songs as free to use under a creative commons license.
The main theme is the perfect blend of slightly creepy and melodic piano and industrial beats that captures the tense mood I wanted perfectly. I'm super excited for this trailer to drop.
In fact, it's pretty much all cut together now. All I need is one more image (the front cover of the book), and I'll be ready to publish it.
That was a week and half of looking, two days of which were devoted entirely to song search. That's a long time to be sitting there with the sinking feeling that you're never going to find what you're looking for. Mind you, it does make the discovery of the right song all the better. I actually did a little dance in bed last night when I found it. Seriously, though. It's perfect.
I'm so excited about it that I'm really tempted to share the song with you right now.
I'm not going to, though. Hopefully the cover will be finished relatively soon, and you will all hear the song. Well, the three songs.
Mind you, because I was so determined to find the perfect song, I didn't get much sleep last night. I'm a happy but very tired and weirdly excited panda.
But I still have to go learn Welsh. Off I go!
