What's this? A Friday post?!
I know. I know. But I have good reason.
So, I've seen this challenge floating around the interwebs, and honestly, I think it's a great way to share music with everyone.
Music plays an incredibly important part in my life. It was often, when I was younger, the only thing that would calm me down. I still use it to help with my moods: either to reflect them or to soothe them. Few things move me the way music does (a really good book will, or a film or video game, but it has to be really, really good. Music doesn't have to work so hard, for some reason). I write to it. I often fall asleep to it. It carries me away to new and interesting place, feeds my muse, and helps me stay sane.
Sharing music is, I think, a love language. It's opening the door to the soul and letting other people peek in.
So, in addition to my usual blog posts, I will be adding the musical challenge pieces, probably tacking them on the end. If I have nothing really to talk about, I'll be just posting the daily challenge as its own post. Now, this does, of course, mean that I'll be posting Friday, Saturday and Sundays until the challenge is complete.
Don't get used to it. It's only for the month the challenge is scheduled for. Once it's done, I'll be returning to my usual Monday - Thursday posting schedule... Until the next challenge.
