You see, my laptop has died. My laptop is where I edited Nights at the Round Table episodes together. It had the template in it, the template I use for editing the episodes. The template that makes editing the episodes so much faster that three hours.
And, not assuaging my suspicions that technology is sentient and does, in fact, hate me, the programme kept freezing and then crashing, I had to shut everything down and restart a number of times, and... ugh... I was a raging wreck by the end.
Sigh.
Oh well. It had to be done, I suppose, and now that it is done, I now have a new template that I can work with for editing new episodes of Nights at the Round Table from now on. Unless my desk top breaks down.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised.
In any case, the long missing show has returned to YouTube, and hopefully I'll get it back on a regular schedule I hope.
Getting this all done not only left me exhausted because of the rage it induced, but because it was after 2:00am that I finished editing and exporting the thing and set it uploading to YouTube. By the time I hit the upload button. I didn't bother to stick around and check to see if the thing had uploaded properly, even though the way the night had been going, I felt I should just in case. I was too tired, to aggro, and all out of fucks to give.
Luckily it worked, and the episode is uploaded and scheduled and will be out today. The discussion was hilarious fun, which I only remembered because I edited the thing together. If I wasn't so angry at everything, and so damned tired, I would have been laughing. I'm rather proud of this one.
I hope you like it.
Oh, and if you're so inclined, I'd love it if you could help the channel out by subscribing. The number of subscriptions counts, apparently, as the services YouTube has decided to offer are tiered. We only get access if we get enough subscribers.
It's great for the big guys, no doubt, but it does make it harder for us little folk.
Anyway, click here if you are inclined to subscribe. It'll take you right to the channel.
I'm off to attempt to work. I'm so tired I can't even spell work right now. It keeps coming out wrok... Which is why the title is the title.
Alright, I'm off.
Ciao.
