I'm a little frazzled this morning....
It was another very busy weekend, in which I achieved a lot, and yet also so very little. I haven't gone grocery shopping for the week. Again. I forgot to do laundry. Again. Luckily, I still have plenty of clean clothes! I did, however, get to filming a couple of episodes of Nights at the Round Table, and I edited together and uploaded episode three of that very show. I also edited and uploaded the next SMC Awkwardly Plays: Skyrim and the next episode of CoOpted: Borderlands. It's a fun thing to edit together, actually. CoOpted is very funny thanks to my wonderful fellow gamer and Kung Fu brother Jon.
Everything to do with the YouTube channel is uploaded and scheduled for the week. I'm very pleased about that.
Last night, I even had enough downtime to begin crafting a mask. The Amazing Flatmate had purchased a bunch of stuff to make them with and so, we sat together with the last of the whiskey that was my Christmas gift, made a cast of my face. We let it dry, then made some papier maché and constructed the first part of the masks; each one moulded to fit our faces.
I've decided that I'm going to make the fox mask that Aleksandar Svetoslav wore to the fateful fund-raising banquet he threw. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should probably read Human.
Ah! Shameless plug!
But seriously, that's the mask I intend to make. We'll see how it goes...
That achieved, we both settled in to watch The Lion King. As it turns out, I still remember most of the lines from it (I watched it so much as a kid I was able to recite the whole movie verbatim from start to finish). In fact, we both did, and we were speaking the lines along with the characters.
And we both cried when Mufasa died. It still gets me.
Where was I? Oh, yes, productivity.
One of the things that I did not manage to achieve was the writing of this month's eNewsletter to have ready first thing this morning. I will be doing that immediately following this post.
Sorry to my subscribers! You'll have it before midday, I swear!
Since that is the case, and I have a number of review requests to make, I'm going to head on off of here and get to work.
Ciao!
